Welcome to Solitude on the West Shore (formerly named Pattani Place), where you will find a retreat from the stress of everyday life. Solitude is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by national forest on three sides, but within five minutes of Tahoe City. Solitude is perfectly located less than eight miles from some of the best snow skiing in California, and the bike trail is less than a mile away. You can also walk to three of the best restaurants on the West Shore. What more could you ask for?! This a true multi-family house that has two master bedrooms, a queen bedroom, and another bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. Equipped with a large modern kitchen that flows into the great room, you will always feel part of the action with family and friends. The upstairs master is spacious and has a large soaking tub with jets and a spa-like feel. The great room with a flat screen television and a beautiful stone fireplace is the perfect place to entertain or just relax with a good book. Enjoy the view from the large deck off of the great room with a glass of wine, or slip into the hot tub after a long day of fun. The deck is also equipped with a gas barbeque, and patio seating for 10 where you can watch or join in a game of horseshoes or disc golf with family and friends. In the downstairs family room, you will find an XBOX 360 gaming system and a 60" flat screen television for the whole family to enjoy. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th your brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order.
