Casa Oliva, Top Location & Rooftop Pool
About the Home
A stylish one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Casco Viejo, steps from Plaza Herrera, one of the neighborhood's most beloved squares. Set in a beautifully restored historic building, it blends original Casco character with thoughtful, design-forward interiors. Guests have access to a rooftop pool and lounge with sweeping views of Panama City and the Pacific. Whether you're here to explore, unwind, or both, this is the place to do it right. A one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment that feels both curated and lived-in. The interiors are filled with original artwork and carefully chosen furnishings that give the space real personality, not the generic vacation rental look. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the bed is dressed in quality linens, and every detail has been thought through so you can arrive and immediately feel at home. Upstairs, the building's rooftop is one of Casco's best-kept secrets: a pool, lounge area, and 360° views of the city skyline and ocean. It's the kind of spot where you'll find yourself lingering longer than planned, whether for morning coffee, golden hour drinks, or late-night city lights. Casco Viejo is Panama City's historic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, rooftop bars, and some of the best restaurants and cafés in the country. The apartment sits right next to Plaza Herrera, one of Casco's most iconic public squares and a perfect base for exploring everything the neighborhood has to offer on foot. From here you're a short walk from the sea wall, the city's best cocktail bars, local coffee spots, and art galleries. It's a neighborhood that rewards wandering. A note on parking: Casco Viejo was built for people, not cars, so parking can be tricky. If you're arriving with a vehicle, your best bet is the parking building right next to Plaza Herrera, which is just steps away and one of Casco's best-kept secrets (most people don't even know it exists). There is also Casco Parking on Avenida Demetrio Brid, between 6th and 8th street, open daily from 6am with a flat daily rate of $5. Street parking exists but spots are limited and hard to find, especially on weekends. Honestly, our recommendation is to leave the car and use Uber for anything outside the neighborhood. It's just easier.
